This ministry has been created as a calling for women to pray, who desire to pray on a regular basis alone or with a group of women. There are some who may or may not meet together for that purpose, but can monthly check into a Website with insights on the subject of prayer, with Kingdom prayer requests covering the world at large. These women commit to giving prayer the place of priority in their lives, and if God gives opportunity, will work to encourage and inspire other women to pray also. If God so leads, these women will suggest and implement small groups of women friends or family, to meet together solely for prayer purposes… an extension of the monthly website encouragements, as sisters in Christ. However, this prayer ministry is being set up so it is not essential that meetings be held…but rather that prayers be prayed by women who will wait on God for His work in our world. It would be wonderful if we could encircle the globe with women who are praying. And it is interesting that women are signing up for this from countries other than the U.S. We may not know each other’s names or be involved personally with each other, but God will be delighted to have His daughters interceding on behalf of such a troubled world. I know that many women have personal problems that may seem overwhelming and are inclined to pray only for these personal needs. May I suggest that for the next six months, your prayers be made for others outside your personal circles and needs. Give Him your personal burdens and sorrows after you have prayed for His concerns around our world and I think you will be amazed that when you allow the Holy Spirit to place God’s burdens in your hearts for prayers, He who knows the burdens and cares that are in your hearts will minister to you.
